We are going here tomorrow...
Although, we were going here if Ike was heading towards Florida (thank you Mindy!)...
There's nothing like waiting until the last possible minute to make a decision! After looking into Las Vegas, Chicago, and multiple places in Georgia, we decided (yesterday) to cancel our trip to Sandestin and go to the Ritz Carlton, Reynolds Plantation on Lake Oconee. Now, one day later, we changed our minds again. I was never this indecisive before pregnancy. Mike's always been the careful thinker, and I was the quick, impulsive decision-maker. Not anymore...
I guess this is our "Baby Moon." I used to laugh at that term, but after seeing Baby Moon packages offered by many resorts, I realize they are more common than I thought. Luckily, we have a travel card to pay for this baby moon. Maybe the "push present" is something I should look into as well:)
After I posted Saturday night, Mike felt Trent kick for the first time! I've been feeling him for a little over a week now, and it was fun for Mike to feel him too. According to my books, he's about 10 inches long now, so we should be feeling lots of movements.
Lastly, can anyone make Trent one of these? I absolutely love it, and I can't sew or smock. Isn't it adorable?
*Disclaimer: Yes, I found this outfit on another blog. I hope I'm not doing anything illegal!

I can definitely relate to your indecisiveness as I can't even choose what I want for lunch since I've been pregnant! I am cracking up though about how many destinations have been considered over the past 48 hours!
Love the outfit, but our little ones won't make it in time to enjoy it before the big election.
That outfit is precious! If it only had McCain/Palin smocked on it somewhere. I have been looking for HC a Weepublican onesie but I haven't found one yet, I really haven't tried that hard. Have so much fun on your trip.
I was very indecisive while I was pregnant too. All the more reason to plan early.
Yall have fun! We will be in Sea Grove Thurs night - Sunday! Glad we're all getting away!
Wow, you mean there's a possibility that one day I'll be even MORE indecisive than I am now?! Oh, my.
Hope y'all have a great time on the Baby Moon!
Good evening!
Congratulations on the upcoming newest addition to your family, how exciting! I do hope that you and your husband once again change your mind and do head to The Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation. You will enjoy as much relaxation and recreation as you please. It is a great spot for your 'baby swoons'. A 'must' while you are there is a romantic, lakeside chiminea dinner in adirondack chairs with virgintinis ;) oh, and the mama mio massages for expecting mothers!
Hope you enjoy your vaca! Enjoy it while you can! Hee Hee! Definitely "push" for the "push present!" I did...that's how I 'talked' Kevin into our ginormous tv! If I was going to be home with a sleeping, eating, pooping baby...I was going to do it watching bowl games in HD!
Hope yall have so much fun. We too are going to the beach for a babymoon in October. We wanted to go somewhere super fun and far away but just couldn't see spending so much money. We really just want to go to sleep and eat :) BTW, I am in bible study with Heidi Lee!
April,
My sister in law is incredibly multi-talented; she sews, smocks, cooks, etc. Her blog is linked to mine (The Murphrees--her name is Andrea and she was an AX at UA also; though about 4 years ahead of me), she may be willing to hire out to do some sewing!
