Big Brother and Baby Sister
Trent has been a very sweet big brother. Of course there have been times it's obvious he misses getting all of the attention, but he has been very sweet to Miller. He's only held her a few times, but he likes to talk to her, show her things and introduce her to people. I laughed when I heard him say, "Hey Baby Miller. I'm Trent, and this is my buddy Daddy G and Mama D." I'm not sure he understands they are her Daddy G and Mama D too:)

The Plan
We should meet Baby Miller tomorrow (Friday, February 17)... unless she decides she wants to make an early appearance. I have to be at the hospital at 5:00 am to be admitted and start the induction process.
When I went to the doctor on Tuesday, I was 2-2.5 cm dilated and "thinned out." Hopefully, I will have made even more progress by tomorrow morning. I'm a little nervous about the pitocin, because it made me feel so sick last time, but I think there's medicine that can help that too.
Unfortunately, Trent is sick. He had a fever of 102 yesterday, so we started antibiotics last night. We are hoping it's just a cold that has turned into a sinus infection, because we went to the doctor Tuesday for his three-year check-up, and his ears, throat and chest checked out okay. He's acting better today than he did yesterday, so hopefully he's on the mend and will be a-okay to meet his baby sister tomorrow.
Please keep us in your prayers this weekend. Obviously this isn't going to be easy or ideal without Mike here, but God has put us in this situation, and I'm trusting Him to take care of us through it. I have no doubt that Mike will be celebrating Miller's birthday in Heaven, so we will be celebrating here.
And since I can't post without pictures, here are a couple from the past few weeks...

Cousins... Baby Miller Update... Red Caboose
We had some company a couple of weekends ago, and I forgot to include a picture in my last post. We are missing baby Maggie in this picture, but I was excited to get these three sitting, looking and smiling.
Since we moved, these cousins have been spending lots of time together! They act more like brothers, and that can be good and bad:)
Here are me and baby Miller. I'm 37 weeks pregnant, although this picture was taken at 36 weeks. I think it's only the second picture I've taken during this pregnancy, and I can't believe she will be here in less than two weeks! As of now, it looks like we will induce either next Thursday or Friday (Feb. 16th or 17th) or the following Monday (the 19th). I was 1.5 cm dilated and "starting to thin" today. At 38 weeks pregnant with Trent, I was 2 cm dilated, and he came on his own at exactly 39 weeks {and he was 8 pounds 3 oz.} Since I'm an hour away from the hospital I'm delivering in, {I decided not to change doctors when we moved} I like the idea of planning this one if possible. I'll know more when I go back to the doctor next Tuesday.
Trent asked me last week if he had to get back in my belly when baby Miller came out. I told him his days in my belly were long gone:)
As I mentioned in the last post, he loves trains. We took him to see the red caboose last weekend, and he loved it. I wish I'd taken my real camera, but I have a feeling we'll be going back soon.
