Here's some information about our little guy at 9 months:
- His Jeep walker is by far his favorite toy. He will not stay in the Jumperoo anymore, and he'd much rather be exploring than contained in anything.
- Crawling over things/people/dogs is a favorite activity. It made us nervous the first time he crawled over Bailey, but she didn't seem to mind it. I think she actually preferred it to his usual paw-grabbing.
- He's currently transitioning to formula, and thank goodness it is going extremely well. Yes folks, after nine months this mama is no longer a milk machine. My goal was six months, and I made it nine- mission accomplished:)
- He has one tooth. We keep thinking we're going to see more, but this one has been standing solo for a few weeks now.
- He's eating 24 oz of food and drinking 28 oz of milk each day. We're starting to introduce "people food," and he will open his mouth for anything. {Although sometimes it comes back out!}
- He was 29 inches long (75th percentile) and 24.1 pounds (90th percentile) at his 9 month check-up. He cried as soon as he saw the nurse and screamed during his finger-prick, after the nurse informed me that most babies don't cry during the finger-prick, HA!
