Party Time

Would anyone like to plan Trent's third birthday party? His party last week was so much fun, but I am so not a party-planner. You know you have problems when you plan a small birthday party at a place that provides everything, but you still don't do anything until the day of the party, which is also a day you did not take off work. Just add it to my Mother of the Year nomination form. :) Thank goodness the little man was oblivious to my pre-party anxiety; he had a blast with family, friends, and Chuck E, which made it all 110% worth it! Here are some pictures from the party...

The last one was taken when Chuck E left the room. Trent tried to follow him, but we told him Chuck E was gone. I'm sure we will be back to see Chuck E soon!

Special thanks to my great friend Kelli for taking pictures during the party! Having a photographer there was definitely my best party-planning idea!

Shame on me....we have yet to take Will to Chuck E. Cheese! The one in Birmingham looks a little sketchy and I am convinced it was probably way better when I was smaller and it was Showbiz :) We might just need to venture over there.
And just so you know....I think your best party planning idea was to NOT have it at your house!!! To me, getting the house ready is the most stressful part!!

Hey! Thanks for the sweet comment on my blog! I love that you did Trents party at Chuck E. Cheese. We use to love that place when we were kids. At least you take your kid there- Colt doesn't know it exsist!
As far as the venison post. With a freezer full (combined we've killed 6 deer this year), I can only tell you good luck. I use it with chili, spagetti and other things that require lots of sauce. Growing up, my mom cut it into small pieces and fried it. We marinate the backstrap and cook it on the grill. Probably my favorite idea with it is to donate it after its processed! :)
